Feladatok:
- Lead the design and development of a next-generation energy-efficient cloud architecture that meets the company’s performance, security, and sustainability objectives.
- Architect solutions that utilize energy-efficient technologies, cloud infrastructure, and data center best practices to minimize power consumption
- Define and oversee the overall strategy for cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, IoT and edge components.
- Design an orchestration framework that automates and optimizes resource management across cloud environments to achieve energy efficiency.
- Architect edge computing solutions that optimize data processing and storage closer to the source to minimize latency and reduce energy consumption.
- Research and integrate emerging green IT technologies such as ARM-based processors, low-power data center hardware, and other data reducing technologies into the cloud infrastructure.
- Design policies for energy-aware computing that consider workload placement, energy-efficient data centers, and optimal resource utilization.
- Collaborate with sustainability teams to track, measure, and optimize energy consumption across the cloud ecosystem.
Elvárások:
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture design, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar platforms for automation and resource optimization.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient computing techniques, low-power hardware, and power optimization technologies.
- Proficiency in networking, storage, virtualization, and containerization in cloud environments.
- Passion for sustainability and a desire to apply knowledge to reduce environmental impact of cloud computing.
- Speak English at least on B2 level and/or German language on B2+ level
