Maintenance engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the comprehensive maintenance activities of the designated operational unit and for maintaining the technical background
• Organizes maintenance processes (Reactive and Preventive maintenance)
• As a subordinate of the maintenance team leader—during their absence—directs the technical team associated with the unit (5-10 members)
• Assesses and defines the necessary expertise and its levels in their area, based on which they propose training and development for the technical team
• Maintains direct contact with representatives from production and other departments
• Monitors the condition of equipment in their area, making proposals for repairs and improvements to enhance reliability
• Participates in the development of the Preventive Maintenance program, coordinating the implementation schedule with other departments
• Maintains contact with contractors for repairs, verifying performance
• Analyzes repair processes, determines the spare parts requirements related to their area, and supports their procurement
• Plans and monitors maintenance costs related to their area
• Operates the maintenance work order system
• Complies with and enforces quality assurance, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Technical higher education (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance, but don't hesitate to apply as a recent graduate
• Proficient in English at a communication level
