We are a Renewable Energy company based in Budapest with offices in the UK and plans to expand to other parts of Europe as we continue to grow. We require an Office Manager to be based full time in our new office, most likely to be on the outskirts of Budapest.
The office manager's responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of our office and being the face of the Business, including:
- Administrative tasks - Overseeing administrative activities, organizing procedures, and handling correspondence
- Staff management - Establishing policies and procedures, dealing with staff issues, and supporting staff career development
- Financial management - Managing the office budget, recording office expenditure, and handling accounts payable, bookkeeping, and general accounting
- Equipment and supplies - Ensuring office equipment is maintained, identifying needs and acquiring supplies, and taking inventory of office supplies
- Communication - Answering phone calls, replying to emails, drafting reports, letters, and memos, and facilitating communication between staff
- Space planning - Organizing the office layout, planning moves, additions, and changes to workstations
- Reception - Ensuring a welcoming and professional reception for visitors and clients
- Scheduling - Scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, and managing employee schedules
- Performance reporting - Keeping management informed regularly via performance reports
