Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Engineer to ensure the reliable operation, optimization, and support of our SAP systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise in SAP environments, databases, and IT service management, coupled with a strong customer-oriented mindset. This role involves coordinating changes and projects with end customers, analyzing and resolving complex system issues, and driving continuous improvements to enhance system performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability and smooth operation of SAP systems, including basic support and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate changes and projects with end customers, ensuring alignment with their requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing optimization and performance analysis of SAP environments.
  • Perform problem and error analysis in SAP systems and associated databases.
  • Monitor and supervise SAP system environments and their interfaces.
  • Implement system and database updates, upgrades, and new installations of SAP environments.
  • Conceptualize, implement, and monitor measures to ensure service levels and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Process incidents, changes, and problems efficiently and effectively.

Végzettség:

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge of at least two of the following database systems: Oracle, MaxDB, MS SQL, Sybase-ASE, or SAP-HANA.
  • Strong technical understanding of SAP systems and their operational aspects.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills in SAP environments.
  • ITIL knowledge for effective incident, change, and problem management.
  • Excellent customer-oriented thinking and actions to maintain and enhance client relationships.
  • Fluent in both German and English. German is the main communication language.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of professional and project experience in SAP system management.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on SAP technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
