We are searching for a new colleague who will join to the MOL Campus Digital Program Office team as a
Technical Project Manager
Your task in a nutshell:
- Manage Mol Campus 3rd party delivery partners and IT service providers to ensure the successful delivery of the portfolio of Mol Campus Service Centre,
- Ensure strategic alignment between the CSC delivery and business needs.
- Expert and adviser on all CSC delivery matters, ensuring that IT initiatives are delivered is line with Mol Campus and industry good practice.
- Work with the Mol Campus program management to ensure that the Mol Campus capability roadmaps are deliverable through the IT portfolio and that finance cases for proposed investments are appropriately scoped.
- Develop and maintain the Campus Program, through working collaboratively with the Mol Campus program management (IT), business divisions, external partners, designers, constructors and other technology colleagues.
- Ensure the overall Campus IT&EX Program is budgeted and planned in line with the Campus Program Manager (where appropriate).
- Participate in procurements at various levels, ensuring alignment of requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other Mol Group teams to take advantage of and develop good practice frameworks, methodologies and delivery collateral across the Campus Program.
- Support the recruitment and hiring, to manage the staff and to be responsible for staff appraisals.
- Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the group through new working practices, or through collaboration and partnerships.
- Establish working relationships and act as a point of contact for other Mol Group departments.
- Represent Campus IT&EX Delivery Team at the appropriate Mol Group senior management bodies.
- Present technical information and to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, clearly and concisely either, in a written or verbal form.
- Experience delivering projects in an outsourced environment, liaising with multiple business units, conflicting priorities and projects (both internal and external service providers and suppliers) at the same time.
- Ability to prioritise resources to ensure successful completion of projects to budget and timescale.
- Responsible for the overall planning, executing and performance monitoring of the assigned technical project(s)
- Contributes to the roadmap definition and detailed action planning, then continuously monitors the progress and ensures that the project is on track, and actively manages a critical path which allows for a line of sight into risk/issues before they have project/program impact.
- Participates in scheduling and cost planning, then controls and monitors total expenditure of project, including plan / actual analysis and cost at completion forecasts and ensures that budget limits are not breached.
- Is responsible for the adequate information sharing to ensure smooth and continuous information flow, facilitates collaboration and cooperation within the stakeholders; manages communication between parties and supervise external consultants, vendors and suppliers.
- Ensures the project continuity with back-office type task fulfilment, prepares benchmarking reports, analysis and supporting materials for decision making according to MOL Group internal regulations and having it approved. Prepares logically structured templates to be used for evaluation, tracking etc., manages that necessary documentation is available.
- Drives the successful implementation (especially IT infrastructure, architectures) and process, product and service development, formulates procedures and policies for optimum utilization of IT infrastructure resources.
- Takes part in build or buy decisions, representing the financial aspects and recommending the most suitable option for the project.
- Contributes to the execution of all additional tasks during the progress which is needed for the successful project implementation.
To be successful in the role, you will require the following:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience agile development project management
- Experience with IT infrastructure projects as well as software projects
- Bonus points: Experience in FM projects
- Ability to connect with both your IT & ASM Business counter-parts, excellent interpersonal skill
- Experience in working in agile / scrum environment besides traditional project management is a plus
- Experience in Smart Home/Building, IoT is a plus
- Strong sense of curiosity and a desire to learn about digital technologies that can enhance customer experience
- Fluent in English and Hungarian
