Head of Accounting
Our partner is a well-established company in Budapest, operating in the automotive industry. As they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced leader to drive their finance department forward, support strategic decision-making—all while enjoying a role that comes with a touch of executive prestige. If you have experience as a Chief Accountant, speak fluent English and have people management experience, we are looking for you!
Feladatok
- Leading and coordinating the accounting department in compliance with internal regulations.
- Establishing and maintaining accurate and lawful financial records.
- Preparing and maintaining monthly and annual closing reports.
- Compiling annual and year-end financial statements (budget vs. actual reports, balance sheet, and annual financial report in accordance with Hungarian accounting standards).
- Managing the annual audit process in collaboration with the appointed auditor.
- Developing and maintaining a transparent and goal-oriented reporting system.
- Improving and aligning management reports for company executives.
Elvárások
- A degree in Finance or Accounting (Certified Accountant qualification is an advantage).
- Over 5 years of leadership experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of taxation and local financial regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Active English language skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- A flexible and proactive attitude.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
