Junior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist

Purpose of the Position:

Join our Digital Factory and be part of the transformation at MOL Group’s Consumer Services business unit as we shift from a traditional fuel retailer to a digitally-driven consumer goods and mobility services provider. We develop and maintain a digital-first loyalty rewards program – MOL MOVE using the Salesforce platform, enhancing customer experiences across multiple countries through data-driven insights and advanced analytics.

As a Junior Salesforce Marketing Cloud System Specialist, you will work closely with our Digital Engineering Team to help develop, configure, and maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Your work will focus on creating and delivering personalized, engaging marketing campaigns while collaborating with senior team members and stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and configuration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email, SMS, push notifications, and automations.
  • Support testing and deployment of solutions to ensure quality and performance.
  • Participate in ITSM requests and incident resolution processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the platform, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with senior specialists and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and suggest improvements.
  • Follow agile methodologies and best practices in the digital engineering team.

 

Education, Skills, and Experience:

Education:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are a plus.

Professional Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience with Contact Builder, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Content Builder within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with Mobile Studio is an advantage.
  • Ability to provide technical support and resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and collaborating with multiple business units.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and configuration.
  • Retail IT domain experience is a plus.

IT Skills:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
  • HTML, CSS OR AMPscript OR SQL OR JavaScript
  • Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
  • Microsoft Office Suite

 

 

Languages:

  • Proficient in English (Upper-Intermediate)
