Senior Payroll Tax Financial Analyst
Our partner, who is the Hungarian subsidiary of a large international company, is looking for experienced Senior Payroll Tax Financial Analyst professionals to join their team!
Feladatok
- Review payroll data input and withholding tax accounts regularly
- Prepare and submit federal, state, and local payroll tax deposits, including ACH file generation, EFTPS submissions, and deposit reconciliation
- Manage tax filings on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Monitor monthly and quarterly tax filings for accuracy and compliance
- Manage amendments and corrections, including Forms 941-X, W-2c, and state-level amended returns
- Perform year-end payroll tax reporting (W-2 data generation, SSA and state filings) and support employees with inquiries and corrections
- Reconcile payroll tax withholding accounts and 941 filings to W-2 filings annually
- Research and resolve client tax questions; educate clients on service updates and changes in tax legislation
- Drive process improvements, refine policies and procedures, and deploy best practices in payroll tax operations
- Other duties as assigned
Elvárások
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience
- CPP or similar certification is a plus
- Ability to interpret tax legislation and union agreements
- Experience developing procedures and improving processes
- NetSuite & MasterTax experience preferred
