About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Server Database Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of complex database applications using Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and above.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable database solutions using T-SQL and SSAS (tabular models).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective database designs.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Implement and maintain version control using Git and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL Server technologies and industry best practices, especially with the Microsoft cloud roadmap (MS Fabric).

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL development.
• Expert-level proficiency in SSAS development (tabular models).
• Fluent in English (C-level mandatory). German (C- or B-level).
• Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, with a strong focus on SSAS and T-SQL.
• Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of database administration tasks, including database creation, structure design, query optimization, and data migration.
• Experience with SSIS for data integration is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
